Marketing Challenge

Art House on Elm was a community art space that lifted area artists and allowed artists to show work, create workshops, sell merchandise, and promote their artwork.

To reach a wide audience and develop an arts market that benefits marginalized groups in Youngstown, Ohio, Art House needed to create a trustworthy brand identity. The goal was to provide Art House with a vibrant and impactful new brand identity with an integrated marketing approach to reach a wide audience across platforms.

Solution

To ensure Art House’s new brand resonated with its audience, I completed thorough research which included mindmaps and competitive analysis.

This research was the foundation that developed a thoughtful multipronged marketing strategy including identifying customer personas, logo design, social media voice, and promotional videos.

Results

The objective was to create a known brand and engage the community in an arts space.

I created a logo for Art House on Elm that was able to be recognized by the arts community as well as a brand icon that was carried through multiple print and marketing collateral.

All materials created and maintained for Art House on Elm told a cohesive story and reached its intended audience and clientele.
